Dragon Fruit

I ponder the dragon fruit, or should I say, the "Pitaya" or "火龍果/火龙果" (your guess on pronunciation is as good as mine!)
I found this Dragon Fruit or “Pitaya” in Tesco’s in Canary Wharf, and it was pretty enough to ignore the £1.79 pricetag. Apparently the fruit grows on a cactus like tree in dry tropical climates; Vietnam produces 30 tons of the fruit each year. And they also come in yellow. They are origionally from Mexico. And taste like a watered down kiwi. The seeds are so small you don’t even notice them. In conclusion, me and Cal decided it was interesting to try, but not worth £1.79 on a regular basis.
