October 2011 UK Online Marketing Conferences & Retail Events
Date: Tuesday, 4 October 2011
Review: I’ve never been, if you can look beyond the visually offensive site the three tracks around customer, internal systems, and industry knowledge seem decent for those looking to dip their foot in online retail. However, the lack of agencies tells me this is a PURELY RETAIL event. Good opportunity to sneak in and nab some new clients?
Date: Tuesday, 11 October 2011 – Wednesday, 12 October 2011
Review: Lots of free sessions, Facebook is doing the keynote.
Date: Wednesday, 12 October 2011
Review: An eConsultancy concoction, this focuses on “online and offline, all joined up”. Compared to eConsultancy’s “Funnel” in November, I this seems much larger.
Date: Tuesday, 18 October 2011 – Wednesday, 19 October 2011
Review: It’s huge.
Date: Monday, 24 October 2011 – Tuesday, 25 October 2011
Review: The Distilled/Moz team will break your bank at £750/ticket, but there are some guaranteed insightful sessions.
November 2011 UK Online Marketing Conferences & Retail Events
Date: Tuesday, 1 November 2011 – Wednesday, 2 November 2011
Review: I’ve never heard of this one before; targeting those looking to integrate online with offline, social media and moible, blah blah blah. Generic. May be worth walking around the 150 supplier booths offering up the bits to complete your integrated service though.
Date: Tuesday, 1 November 2011
Review: A new conference by eConsultancy, I’d wait a year to see if this is decent; it seems to be a workshop in how to maximise your digital budget. Good for digital account managers perhaps?
Date: Wednesday, 9 November 2011
Review: I find these guys usually put on decent events, great for those new to the digital game.
Date: Thursday, 24 November 2011
Review: A trip to Manchester to chill with Pete Young is a definite win. Plus, at £10.00 it’s no wonder these tickets are sold out months in advance!
Date: Thursday, 24 November 2011
Review: With a focus on international SEO & PPC, this day may provide some light with speakers from OMD & aimClear. If you have multiple international clients it’s worth a look.
Date: Wednesday, 30 November 2011
Review: This is for proper analytics oriented geeks. I can’t wait!

February 2012 UK Online Marketing Conferences & Retail Events
Date: Monday, 20 February 2012 – Thursday, 24 February 2012
Review: If you can survive 4 days of a conference, my hat’s off to you! I can’t imagine all 4 days are equally informative.
March 2012 UK Online Marketing Conferences & Retail Events
Date: Saturday, 3 March 2012
Review: If it’s put on by the hodge, there are two guarentees – great insights & an even better afterparty. Plus, only hardcore marketers will voluntarily spend their weekend in Leeds.
Date: Wednesday, 21 March 2012 – Thursday, 22 March, 2012
Review: Looks like a sea of booths.
Review: A free conference, a day out in Brighton, and high quality speakers = WIN. This is the Lady Gaga Tour of the SEO world, so you’d better grab your ticket the second they go live. Last time 500 tickets sold out in 26 minuted.
April 2012 UK Online Marketing Conferences & Retail Events
Date: Tuesday, 24 April 2012 – Thursday, 26 April 2012
Review: Giant Expo.
May 2012 UK Online Marketing Conferences & Retail Events
Date: Tuesday, 15 May 2012 – Wednesday, 16 May 2012
Review: One of the major SEO conferences, the level of insight was a bit hit or miss in teh supposed “Advanced” track in May 2011s.
